Look at where London’s escort apartments actually are and something obvious appears: they are almost all west of Hyde Park. Earls Court, Gloucester Road and Bayswater alone account for 48 of 101. Add Paddington and Marylebone and you have almost two thirds of the roster inside a very small piece of west London.
Why there, and not elsewhere
The housing stock is unusually well suited
West London is dense with Victorian mansion blocks and large converted terraces — buildings with dozens of flats, a communal front door and constant, unremarkable footfall. Nobody notices an additional visitor. A modern block with a concierge desk offers far less privacy, and a suburban street with six houses offers none at all.
Two tube lines do almost all the work
The District and Piccadilly lines run straight through this corridor. The Piccadilly line matters twice over: it links Earls Court and Gloucester Road directly to the West End in ten minutes, and directly to Heathrow without changing. For a companion taking outcall bookings across the city, that is the difference between a workable evening and an impossible one.
The hotels are next door
Most outcall work in London goes to hotels, and the hotels cluster in Mayfair, Park Lane, Knightsbridge and Paddington. Being based in Earls Court or Bayswater puts a companion ten to fifteen minutes from nearly all of them. Being based in Croydon does not.
It is where international London already lives
Earls Court and Bayswater have been transient, international districts for a century. Short lets are normal, nobody is a curiosity, and neighbours change constantly.
What this means for your booking
