Battersea is across the river from Chelsea and priced like south London rather than west. SW11, around the park and the power station.

Where it is

The Northern line extension put two stations into the area, which changed it considerably. Chelsea is over the bridge and Victoria is a few minutes by train.

What is here

A mix of new riverside apartments and older conversions, with a roster that has grown as the area has. Mostly incall.

What it costs

Below Chelsea despite being a bridge away, which is the whole reason to look here. The gap is larger than the journey justifies.

Worth knowing before you ring

The new blocks around the power station have concierges; the older conversions do not. If that matters to you, ask when you book.

Getting there

Two Northern line stations opened here recently and changed the area considerably. Victoria is a few minutes by train and the West End not much more.
