How they are chosen

Availability, recent photographs, and a diary that is actually being kept current. A featured listing is one we can say something confident about tonight, rather than one we could say something confident about in March.

The list changes often for the same reason. Availability moves week to week, so a profile appearing here in October may not be here in November without anything having gone wrong.

What it is not

A ranking of who is best. The roster does not work that way and nobody sensible would try to make it. What suits one person is beside the point for the next.

Treat it as a shortlist for people who do not want to read fifty profiles, which is most people most of the time.

Who it suits

Anyone booking at short notice. If the question is who is free tonight rather than who is perfect, starting here saves more time than any filter on the site.

It is also the natural starting point if you have no fixed idea and would rather narrow down by looking than by ticking boxes.

What you pay

The ordinary rate for her area. Nothing about appearing on this page changes the number on the profile.

If nothing here suits
