High Class

High class describes the booking and the postcode more than the companion. On this site it means the upper rate band, from around £400 an hour, and the areas that go with it.

What you are paying for

Rent, mostly. An incall in Mayfair or Knightsbridge sits on the most expensive ground in the country, and that comes out of the hourly rate rather than out of anyone’s margin.

What tends to differ

Length rather than content. Two hour minimums, dinner dates and overnights are a much larger share of the work in this band, and the companions here are set up for that rather than for a single hour.

The other difference is discretion. The buildings in these postcodes have porters and lifts rather than street doors, and the companions working them are practised at arrivals that attract no attention at all.

Where they work

Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia and Park Lane, with hotel outcall a large part of it.

The honest note

A higher rate is evidence of the address, not proof of a better hour. Move two stops out and the same evening frequently costs a third less.

Give notice. These are the fullest diaries in London and Thursday to Saturday closes days ahead.

Two hour minimums mean the entry price here is higher than the hourly rate suggests. Factor that in before comparing bands, because £400 an hour with a two hour minimum is a different proposition from £400 for an hour.
